Remote Software Engineer

Turing is a research accelerator and partner for organizations developing and deploying advanced AI systems. The Remote Software Engineer will design and solve software engineering and algorithmic problems, create coding solutions, evaluate AI responses, and collaborate with researchers to improve AI understanding of software development workflows.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will contribute to projects that help evaluate and enhance AI systems using your software engineering expertise and analytical problem-solving skills
• Design and solve real-world software engineering and algorithmic problems to test AI reasoning
• Write clear, step-by-step coding solutions across data structures, APIs, debugging, and optimization techniques
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to software design principles
• Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of code generation, problem-solving, and real-world development workflows

Requirements:

• strong experience in software development, programming, and system design
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer
• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go
• Excellent English communication and ability to document and explain code logic clearly
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and agile development methodologies
