National Accounts, Business Development Manager

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a National Accounts, Business Development Manager to drive new business and demand for its products through group purchasing organizations and cooperatives. The role develops and leads campaigns and initiatives to support national accounts growth and works with partners and internal teams to increase category growth and secure business.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Strategic Partners (GPO’s & Co-ops) and GP National Account Managers to maximize opportunities for Commercial and Foodservice Solutions growth
• Identify opportunities by analyzing detailed data from various reporting sources and leveraging compliance and incentive programs, preferred product positions, and general market insights to overall increase category growth
• Leverage Strategic Partner relationships and align resources from internal and external stakeholders (i.e., GPO’s/Co-ops, Endusers, Distribution, GP sellers, Category, Marketing, etc.) to promote GP and drive business development
• Develop and lead Sales Campaigns/Initiatives that connect GP sellers (National, Local, Virtual) with Distributors to target end users and secure new business and or enhance category penetration
• Create tools and processes to help facilitate internal knowledge sharing across GP sales organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of sales experience
• 3+ years of outside sales or equivalent experience
• Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Experience selling to or working at a national GPO or Co-Op
• Business to business sales experience with large national accounts or larger multi-site customers and distribution
• Contract negotiation experience, financial acumen, and P&L management
• Experience with salesforce.com or other CRM
