Senior Data Analyst, Labor & Employment Data Analytics

Libra Analytics is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for its Labor & Employment Practice. The role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing models and client-ready materials, supporting clients, mentoring junior staff, and helping ensure projects are completed successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate legal documents and client needs to design and implement advanced analytical methods
• Process and analyze large datasets using tools like SAS, Python, R, or SQL
• Develop exposure models and dashboards in Excel and Tableau to present actionable insights
• Ensure data completeness, reliability, and reproducibility in all analyses
• Prepare polished, client-ready reports, exhibits, and presentations
• Serve as a key contact for clients, providing updates and interpreting their needs
• Mentor junior staff, providing feedback to foster their growth and maintain quality
• Collaborate with leadership to anticipate project needs and address challenges

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or litigation support
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, or SQL
• Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic modeling and visualization
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, economic modeling, and data visualization techniques
• Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions
• experience in labor and employment analytics is preferred
• familiarity with Tableau is a plus
