Software Implementation Project Manager

CADTALK Software connects engineering and manufacturing systems through software integrations. The Software Implementation Project Manager owns customer implementation delivery from kickoff through go-live and handoff, managing scope, budget, timelines, and communication while improving delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Own project delivery for assigned customers from kickoff through go-live and handoff
• Manage scope, budget, and timeline. Create and maintain project plans in Rocketlane
• Lead recurring stakeholder updates so every customer knows status, blockers, and next steps
• Drive the change-order process when scope shifts to protect margins and customer trust
• Coordinate work across architects, implementation engineers, and customer success
• Maintain project hygiene: definitions of done, documentation, and closure checklists
• Surface delivery risks early and escalate with data, not drama
• Capture lessons learned to improve our delivery playbook and stage-gate model
• Establish and maintain clear communication rhythms with customers, partners, and internal teams
• Translate technical updates into business language for executive and non-technical audiences
• Model Radical Candor: balance empathy with directness to drive progress without friction
• Lead with transparency: communicate blockers early, share decisions with context, and close the loop on every issue
• Represent CADTALK professionally in all customer and partner interactions
• Contribute to project discipline, communication, and accountability best practices across the PS team

Requirements:

• Have 3–5 years of experience as a project manager, ideally on B2B software implementations (ERP, PLM, CAD, MES, or similar)
• Have direct customer-facing experience
• You're comfortable leading client meetings, managing expectations, and owning the relationship through delivery
• Have led technical teams you didn't directly manage and know how to influence without authority
• Are comfortable running multiple concurrent projects with different partners and time zones
• Communicate with Radical Candor: clear, kind, and unafraid to address tough topics early
• Can translate between technical depth and executive clarity
• Default to systems thinking
• You notice patterns and build process before chaos spreads
• Thrive in growth-stage environments where structure is still being built
• Are fluent with project tools like Rocketlane, Smartsheet, or Monday
• Bonus: experience in or with the manufacturing industry is helpful but not required
