Wicked Modern Websites is a digital agency serving local and small businesses with website and digital marketing services. Responsibilities:

• Own multiple website and digital marketing projects from onboarding through launch and post-launch handoff
• Coordinate developers, designers, SEO and Google Business Profile specialists, social media resources, and outside partners
• Set clear priorities and deadlines, and follow up proactively when work begins to stall
• Maintain an accurate, current picture of every project's status
• Spot scope issues, missing information, bottlenecks, and potential delays early, and keep work moving
• Translate client feedback into clear, actionable production instructions
• Provide proactive, professional project updates so clients hear from us before they need to ask
• Request content, images, account access, approvals, and other client materials
• Explain technical topics in clear, non-technical language
• Build client confidence that their project is organized and moving forward
• Take ownership of new projects once they close
• Make sure intake forms are completed and assets are collected
• Coordinate access to websites, hosting, domain registrars, Google Business Profiles, analytics, social accounts, and other systems
• Organize client information so production teams have what they need before work begins
• Review websites and deliverables before they're presented to clients or marked complete
• QA may include: desktop and mobile review, navigation and links, forms and email delivery, copy and formatting, images, basic SEO, analytics, Google Search Console, Google Site Kit, WordPress plugins and licensing, SMTP/email configuration, backups and hosting, security configuration, domain/DNS readiness, and post-launch checks
• You don't need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable recognizing when something is wrong and making sure the right person fixes it
• Coordinate launches and final approvals, following our established launch procedures
• Verify that required production and quality-control steps are complete
• Transition clients smoothly into ongoing services such as hosting, website support, SEO, Google Business Profile management, or social media
• Make sure open items are tracked and closed, not forgotten after launch

• Professional fluency in spoken and written English is required. You must be comfortable independently leading client calls, writing clear client updates, and coordinating production partners in English
• Extremely organized and comfortable managing many active projects at once

• Confident communicating with small business owners and production teams alike
• Comfortable holding vendors and contractors accountable
• Detail-oriented without getting stuck in the details
• Able to tell an urgent problem from a minor issue
• Comfortable making decisions within established processes, and willing to ask questions when needed
• Quick to learn technical systems and calm when something goes wrong
• Naturally inclined to take ownership
• Professionally fluent in spoken and written English
• Experience in one or more of these areas is highly valuable: digital agency operations, website project management, WordPress, website QA, SEO, Google Business Profile management, web hosting, DNS and domains, Google Analytics / Search Console, client account management, and managing remote or outsourced production teams
• Familiarity with WordPress, WP Engine, Elementor, Divi, Google Workspace, Slack, project management tools, and common SEO tools is a plus. Deep expertise in all of them isn't required
