Product Manager/Product Owner (SaaS)

CIMS Global is a clinical trials technology and data science company. The Product Manager/Product Owner (SaaS) leads the lifecycle of clinical trial data science products, translating market and customer needs into product roadmaps and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver SaaS solutions aligned with business and regulatory goals.

Responsibilities:

• The Product Manager/Product Owner (SaaS) will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of clinical trial data science products, from discovery and requirements gathering through launch and optimization, in a full-time remote position
• This role involves translating market and customer needs into clear product roadmaps, defining and prioritizing features, and creating user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
• The individual will collaborate closely with data scientists, developers, clinical experts, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality SaaS solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Daily activities include backlog management, sprint planning, reviewing product performance and user feedback, and preparing product documentation, release notes, and demos
• The Product Manager/Product Owner will also monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product strategy and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Product management and product ownership skills, including roadmap development, backlog prioritization, and requirement definition for SaaS products
• Experience working with data-driven products or platforms, ideally involving AI, ML, NLP, or advanced analytics in regulated or healthcare-related environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, clinical operations, and business stakeholders)
• Ability to translate complex technical and clinical concepts into clear, user-focused features and documentation
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and iterative product delivery
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated capability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and make data-informed decisions
• Background in life sciences, healthcare, clinical research, or related fields is highly beneficial
