Project Management Director, Facilities

JLL is hiring a project management leader to guide a national team and oversee delivery for a strategic client portfolio spanning fit-outs, capital improvements, site work, and new construction. The role owns client relationships, account strategy and P&L, capital planning, and delivery excellence across a geographically dispersed portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a national team of project management professionals, providing coaching on JLL standards, market best practices, and client expectations while fostering their professional development
• Manage key client relationships across all organizational levels, proactively identifying opportunities to introduce relevant JLL services and solutions that address evolving business needs
• Oversee the full project lifecycle for diverse project types including fit-outs, capital improvements, and new construction, ensuring compliance with contractual, jurisdictional, and client requirements
• Drive account strategy development and execution, including managing the P&L to meet or exceed financial targets while maintaining appropriate team sizing and staffing levels
• Interface regularly with project managers, architects, contractors, client stakeholders, and property managers to facilitate seamless project delivery and exceptional client experience
• Manage the client's annual capital plan including year-end projections, variance reporting, and stewardship of capital allocation decisions
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to fees, reputation, and potential liabilities while keeping senior leadership informed of issues that could impact JLL's standing
• Champion process improvement initiatives that enhance consistency, speed, and cost-effectiveness of project delivery across the portfolio

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited institution
• 10+ years of progressive experience in real estate project management leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams within a corporate or third-party service provider environment
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction methods, and project financials including budgeting, scheduling, and change order management
• Proven track record managing client relationships at the executive level and delivering successful outcomes across complex, multi-site portfolios
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, Master's in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering)
• Professional certifications such as LEED, AIA, PE, or PMP
• Experience managing projects in a Principal or Account Leader capacity for strategic clients
• Working knowledge of capital plan creation, management, and reporting in corporate real estate environments
• Familiarity with JLL's Adaptive Work platform or similar enterprise project management software
• Experience working with landlords, third-party developers, and navigating multi-stakeholder construction environments
