Product Designer

Taekus is a premium financial services company offering banking products and an award travel booking engine for affluent travelers. The Product Designer will shape polished web and mobile experiences across banking and travel products, evolve the design system, translate the brand into UI, and collaborate with engineering and product to ship high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Designing web and mobile experiences across banking features (accounts, cards, transactions) and travel features (award search, booking, itineraries)
• Driving designs from early concepts to polished, production-ready UI
• Extending and evolving our design system, raising consistency and quality as the product scales
• Translating Taekus brand identity into UI so the premium feel comes through in the product
• Light brand and marketing support: you'll occasionally pitch in on brand assets or visual direction, without it taking over your time
• Collaborating closely with engineering (React/TypeScript) and product to ship high-quality work

Requirements:

• 5+ years in design, including 3+ years in product design
• Has shipped at least one real product, not just concept work
• Experience contributing to a design system or UI library
• A strong portfolio with exceptional visual design sensibility; we want to see polished, beautiful work
• Experience designing for both web and mobile (iOS/Android)
• Proficiency in Figma
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, lean startup with high autonomy
• personal interest in travel hacking, points, and miles
