Founding Engineer

COOPr is building AI-native software for construction operations. The Founding Engineer will own data structuring and system architecture, expand integrations with legacy systems and AI solutions, and build agent capabilities and evaluation systems while working with co-founders and customers.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the primary owner of our data structuring and system architecture as we expand our integration capabilities with other legacy systems, AI-native SaaS solutions and frontier models
• You’ll also work directly with co-founders and customers to influence product decisions
• Creating reliable data ingestion and structuring frameworks that allow agents to traverse information from various systems and intelligently guide users towards their next real-world action, such as identifying when a specific material order will arrive onsite to enable an install crew to set it up within the building
• Designing AI-native end-user solutions that minimize human-computer interaction time by implementing APIs for computer use, always-on agents, machine connectivity and other frontier solutions
• Building an agent library that enables end users to create custom skills that read, write and configure operational data
• Build and mature our evaluation pipeline to measure, monitor, and improve model and agent performance over time
