Project Manager, Americas PMO, Mandiant Consulting

Google is hiring a Project Manager for Mandiant Consulting’s Americas Program Management Office. The role manages client-facing consulting projects, supporting planning, execution, risk resolution, and consistent delivery within quality, schedule, and budget expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive project plans, timelines, and tracking documents for moderately to highly complex initiatives, applying best practices with consulting leads and client teams
• Identify, document, and track project risks, while proactively triaging and resolving commonly escalated issues in a timely manner
• Anticipate issues through data analysis and recommend creative solutions to address defined problems and meet client needs
• Build professional networks to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
• Share best practices and inform teams of new processes to maximize efficiency, reduce rework, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience working as a Project Manager in a client facing environment
• Experience working in consulting, managing billable and utilization goals
• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Ability to execute end-to-end project planning, status reporting, and closeout using advanced tools and spreadsheets to track progress and resolve issues
• Ability to monitor and mitigate critical project costs within expected budgets, utilizing strong knowledge of financial definitions to advise consulting leaders
• Ability to apply project management best practices and root-cause analysis, understanding upstream and downstream process impacts across functional and regional owners
• Ability to manage complex contractual documentation and facilitate effective stakeholder communications, exercising judgment to align deliverables with broader priorities
