Description

We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our Data Engineering team, focusing on enterprise data modernization. This role requires onsite presence in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX and is a contract position. The successful candidate will collaborate with leads and stakeholders to design and optimize solutions on a cloud-based data platform. Expertise in data governance, security, and performance optimization is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable data solutions using a cloud-based platform.
Partner with teams to define implementation approaches and best practices.
Optimize environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Implement data governance, lineage, and security controls.
Support migration initiatives from traditional databases to cloud platforms.

Qualifications

5 years of Data Engineering experience.
3 years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms.
Strong knowledge of data governance and security solutions.
Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
