Project Manager

Agilent Technologies is hiring a Project Manager to lead critical new product development and other business projects across its Chemistries and Supplies divisions. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project planning and execution, and supports portfolio management and project management best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects as assigned by Project Management Center of Excellence Director
• Accountable for overall project objectives and execution of projects he or she directly manages
• Responsible for overall project planning, objectives and execution of the project team
• Facilitates cross-functional discussions and alignment to common Projects goals
• Manages communications within team and stakeholder management across all functions
• Works with Division leadership, functional managers to address Project team issues
• Updates project status reports in project dashboards and Product Group roadmaps
• Interface with Product Group points-of-contact in Marketing, OFS and R&D on Roadmap planning
• As member of PMCoE, support implementation of Portfolio Management and share best practices within team to support Project Manager development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Life Sciences
• Technical background in Spectroscopy, Chromatography, Chemical/Biological Standards or Life Science
• 8+ years of experience in chemical or life science industry
• 5+ or more years of project management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills in collaboration, negotiation and networking
• Demonstrated skill in meeting facilitation, project planning and stakeholder management
• Demonstrated delivery customer solutions by transforming broad concepts into structured programs
• Agilent Consumables business experience
• PMP, Agile or Six Sigma certification
