Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is hiring a Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and Terraform-based infrastructure across its cloud environment. The role collaborates with IT teams, supports secure and reliable cloud solutions, and ensures systems comply with security standards and risk guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as the technical subject matter expert and sounding board for questions and decisions related to Azure and other Cloud solutions
• Bridges the gap between the IT Infrastructure team and IT. Applications team as it relates to integrating application development and IT Infrastructure leveraging primarily Microsoft technologies such as Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Graph API, Foundry, as well as new technologies as they are released
• Ensures that solutions that are built follow vendor best practices for performance, cost, data protection, and security
• Assist in the development of technology roadmaps, covering lifecycle planning, capacity planning, obsolescence, availability of support, and vendor roadmaps
• Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, and to prevent recurring problems in the environment
• Create and maintain clear documentation on services and applications that you manage

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a cloud systems administrator or comparable experience
• 3+ years' experience managing and designing Azure environments
• 3+ years' experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years' Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
• Advanced knowledge of Azure and its integration with other Microsoft cloud based solutions
• Advanced working knowledge of Azure DevOps & CI/CD best practices
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with application development pipelines and integration with IT Infrastructure
• Self-starter, take charge, highly motivated, positive demeanor and able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
• Comfortable presenting to large groups and is an expert at explaining technical concepts to non-technical audience
• The ability to constantly maintain a knowledge of new and emerging technologies
• Experience with the legal vertical preferred
• BA preferred
• Microsoft AZ-400 certification
• A functional understanding of application development solutions such as Logic and Function Apps as it relates to integration with various components of IT Infrastructure
• Experience with Power Platform, Foundry, Graph API, Logic Apps, Function Apps
• Experience with managing O365 services
• Experience with AI technologies such as Copilot or Claude
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes and how it integrates with other components within an Azure tenant
• Experience of planning and designing lifecycle projects (feasibility, planning, outline design, stakeholder management)
