Engineering Product Manager

Cisco is hiring an Engineering Product Manager for its Enterprise Security Product Team. The role drives strategy and execution for an agentic SOC within Cisco’s security operations platform, working with engineering, customers, and go-to-market teams to define, validate, and launch capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the product strategy and execution for our agentic SOC within the flagship security operations platform
• Partner closely with engineering and customers to identify critical security operations challenges and translate them into actionable product requirements
• Prototype and validate solutions, ensuring hands-on familiarity with the product and delivering demonstrable results
• Collaborate with cross-functional GTM teams to launch new capabilities and ensure successful rollout to customers
• Lead analyst briefings for Agentic SOC capabilities with leading market research analysts

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Cybersecurity with 12 years of experience; or Master's degree with 8 years of experience; or PhD with 5 years of experience
• Experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, threat intelligence, and incident response processes
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or large language models, including personal or professional projects
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive leadership, customers, and engineering teams
• Ability to balance long-term strategic vision with tactical execution in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently driving initiatives from conception to successful outcome
• Demonstrated curiosity and active listening skills, especially in customer and engineering engagements
