Project Manager

Imperium Global is recruiting for an unnamed construction contractor seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role owns project budgets, schedules, client and stakeholder relationships, subcontractors, and coordination with field teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and profitably.

Responsibilities:

• Managing projects from award and preconstruction through to completion and closeout
• Building and managing project budgets, schedules and cost forecasts
• Leading project meetings and coordinating with owners, architects, engineers and consultants
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers, including buyout, contracts and performance
• Handling change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation
• Working closely with superintendents and field teams to drive safety, quality and productivity
• Tracking project financials and reporting on progress, risk and profitability to senior leadership
• Building strong client relationships that lead to repeat business

Requirements:

• 5+ years' project management experience with a general contractor or specialty contractor
• A proven record of delivering projects successfully on budget and on schedule
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling and cost control
• Experience with project management and scheduling software (e.g. Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar)
• Strong leadership, communication and client management skills
• The ability to manage several priorities and projects at once
• a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
