Salesforce Marketing Cloud Sr. Engineer (Hybrid)

Securian Financial Group is seeking a senior engineer to evolve its marketing technology ecosystem, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The role analyzes business needs, designs technical solutions, and delivers capabilities that improve customer engagement, operational efficiency, and strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and support business-critical technology solutions that enable key business capabilities
• Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to design and implement scalable solutions
• Develop, maintain, and enhance vendor platforms, custom applications, and system integrations
• Lead technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support activities
• Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions to improve business outcomes and platform capabilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while promoting system stability, security, and performance
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, process optimization, and engineering best practices
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences and contribute to a collaborative team culture
• Partners with Product Owner on assignments to deliver results with a high degree of accountability and independence

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability in SQL, AMPScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Desire to utilize / develop consultative skills to assist our marketers
• Strong ability to learn and a desire to succeed
• Desire to learn about marketing and marketing technologies between multiple business lines
• Ability to speak to both marketing as well as technical associates
