Strategic Customer Development Manager

Inpro WT is hiring a Strategic Customer Development Manager to grow its commercial window shade business through strategic sales, account development, and new dealer and channel partnerships. The role also leads customer onboarding and training programs, supports a Corporate Accounts Sales Representative, and collaborates across internal teams to improve customer success and profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies that expand commercial window shade sales and deliver profitable growth
• Build and strengthen relationships with strategic and national accounts to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with affiliated national accounts teams and internal partners to maximize sales opportunities
• Monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve business objectives
• Identify, recruit, and develop new dealers and channel partners to expand market reach
• Create structured development plans that guide new partners from onboarding through their first order, repeat purchases, and independent selling
• Provide hands-on support during initial sales opportunities to build partner confidence and capabilities
• Establish strong, lasting relationships that drive customer engagement, retention, and continued growth
• Design, deliver, and continuously improve engaging customer and dealer onboarding programs
• Develop practical training covering product selection, applications, specifications, measuring, quoting, ordering, installation resources, and service processes
• Partner with internal experts to create training guides, recorded modules, and other resources that make learning accessible and effective
• Evaluate customer readiness, track onboarding success, and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience
• Measure program effectiveness through key indicators such as time to first order, repeat purchases, and order accuracy
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance guidance to a Corporate Accounts Sales Representative
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Establish clear goals, monitor results, and promote accountability and continuous improvement
• Serve as a trusted resource for customers and internal stakeholders, helping resolve challenges and support long-term success

Requirements:

• Proven success in strategic accounts, national accounts, channel sales, or business development
• Experience developing and executing sales strategies that produce measurable, profitable growth
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective product training, customer onboarding, or sales development programs
• Experience recruiting, developing, and supporting dealers, distributors, or channel partners
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate others and drive accountability
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze performance metrics, and execute projects successfully
• Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and related business technology
• ideally within commercial window shades, building products, or a related industry
• Knowledge of commercial construction, architectural products, or the window shade industry is a plus
