Release & Deployment Engineer / Environment Support Engineer

Cognizant is hiring a Release & Deployment Engineer / Environment Support Engineer to manage the software release lifecycle and support application and deployment environments. The role maintains release tools and pipelines, supports audits, and ensures compliant, successful production deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end release and deployment activities across all environments
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines
• Perform code merges, resolve deployment conflicts, and coordinate release activities
• Administer and support release management tools such as:
• Provide application and environment support to development and business teams
• Set up, configure, and maintain operating systems and deployment environments
• Prepare deployment documentation and provide audit evidence during client and internal audits
• Monitor release health and ensure successful implementation in production environments
• Automate deployment and operational activities wherever possible
