Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on SAP Retail consultant with strong configuration experience across SAP CAR, PMR, OPP, and S/4HANA Retail Pricing. This is an individual contributor role requiring direct involvement in system configuration, development of functional specifications, testing, defect resolution, and demonstrations.

The consultant will work closely with the pricing lead, internal project team, and client business users, taking end-to-end ownership of assigned functional objects and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP CAR, PMR, and OPP functionalities for retail pricing and promotions.
• Manage campaigns, offers, promotions, and BOGO scenarios.
• Configure promotion planning, versioning, approvals, promotion hierarchies, and forecast integration.
• Support omnichannel pricing and promotion rule modelling across POS, e-commerce, and other sales channels.
• Integrate SAP CAR with SAP S/4HANA Retail for sales price calculations, pricing procedures, condition techniques, price lists, markdowns, and regular price maintenance.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, unit test scripts, and SIT test scenarios.
• Perform system testing, troubleshoot defects, support data loads, and participate in cutover, UAT, and hypercare activities.
• Lead working sessions with client business users to finalize requirements and document design decisions.
• Take independent ownership of assigned deliverables while collaborating with the pricing lead and project team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on configuration experience with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository).
• Expertise in PMR (Promotion Management for Retail) and OPP (Omnichannel Promotion Pricing).
• Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Retail Pricing and integration with SAP CAR.
• Experience with campaigns, offers, BOGO, promotion planning, pricing rules, and omnichannel price calculations.
• Experience with retail pricing condition techniques, pricing procedures, markdowns, price lists, and regular price maintenance.
• Experience delivering 2 3 full-lifecycle SAP Retail implementations, with personal build and configuration responsibility for pricing and promotions.
• Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, data conversion, cutover, and hypercare.
• Retail industry experience, preferably in grocery, fashion, or similar retail environments.

Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, and drive assigned tasks to completion
