Position Overview

A large, Charlotte-headquartered organization is seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Manager to lead its HR Information Systems function. This is an opportunity to join an expanding organization and oversee HRIS operations, system enhancements, process improvements, and team management.

The ideal candidate will have strong, recent hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, along with a combination of HRIS implementation experience and corporate HRIS operations. Experience with UKG is a plus.

Critical Hiring Requirements

• Strong, recent SAP SuccessFactors experience is required.
• Must have a combination of HRIS implementation and corporate HRIS experience.
• Must have experience managing a team of approximately 5 employees.
• Candidates must have worked exclusively in HRIS for the past 4 5 years.
• Candidates whose primary background is general Human Resources management, with HRIS responsibilities as only one part of their role, are not the target profile.
• UKG experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities HRIS Leadership & System Management

• Oversee and maintain the optimal functioning of the organization's internal HR information systems.
• Assist with reviewing, testing, and implementing HRIS system upgrades and patches.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and HR teams to identify system improvements and enhancements, recommend solutions, and oversee implementation.
• Manage system permissions, user access, personalization, and other HRIS settings.
• Maintain HRIS system tables and help ensure data integrity through queries and data analysis.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Develop, maintain, and support reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools.
• Compile complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives and HR staff.
• Document processes, system changes, and results.

Team Management & Support

• Lead and manage HRIS analysts to ensure compliance and high-quality internal customer service.
• Provide technical support and guidance to HR employees.
• Research and resolve HRIS issues, unexpected results, and process deficiencies.
• Perform scheduled system activities and recommend solutions or alternative approaches to meet business requirements.

Process Improvement & Project Management

• Identify risks and recommend process changes, customer service improvements, and innovative solutions to enhance HR service delivery.
• Develop project plans and monitor the progress of HRIS initiatives.
• Provide project management support for HR initiatives and coordinate resources as needed.
• Develop user procedures, guidelines, and system documentation.
• Train employees on new processes, system functionality, and HRIS tools.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Serve as a key liaison with third-party providers and internal stakeholders, including payroll teams.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and HR teams to align HRIS capabilities with organizational needs.
• Stay current with HRIS trends, technology developments, product enhancements, and support practices.
• Continuously develop HRIS, systems, and application knowledge through training and professional development.
