Senior IT Project Manager – Microsoft 365 Tenant Remediation

Atlas is recruiting for a confidential client seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead an enterprise Microsoft 365 tenant cleanup and remediation initiative. The role coordinates technical and business stakeholders, manages delivery plans and project governance, and ensures remediation is validated and transitioned to operational owners.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a Microsoft 365 tenant cleanup and remediation initiative
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to assess existing issues, establish priorities, and define remediation activities
• Develop and maintain the integrated project plan, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
• Coordinate Microsoft 365 administrators, infrastructure teams, security teams, and other relevant stakeholders
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, escalations, and project governance
• Track remediation progress and ensure clear ownership and accountability
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and communicate status, risks, and decisions to leadership
• Ensure remediation activities are completed, validated, and transitioned to the appropriate operational owners

Requirements:

• Strong experience managing complex enterprise IT projects
• Demonstrated success leading remediation, modernization, or technology improvement initiatives
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments, including tenant administration concepts, user accounts, permissions, and configurations
• Ability to manage technical teams and translate technical challenges into actionable project plans
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and executive reporting skills
• Experience managing projects across multiple IT functions in large, complex organizations
• Previous experience managing Microsoft 365 tenant remediation, optimization, or migration projects
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 administration, identity and access management, and cloud governance
• Experience working within an enterprise information security organization
• Experience in regulated industries, particularly pharmaceuticals or life sciences
