L&D Business Analyst

The hiring client is a confidential building technology and software services company. The L&D Business Analyst will support the future learning management system environment by gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing workflows, coordinating testing and implementation readiness, and helping develop operational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and maintain business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
• Document current-state and future-state business processes
• Analyze current workflows and conduct time studies to identify process improvement and automation opportunities
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to design and implement scalable solutions
• Develop and execute functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Validate system functionality, track defects, and support issue resolution
• Assist with data validation, migration activities, and implementation readiness
• Support development of operational processes and standard work for the future LMS environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role
• Experience implementing, administering, or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS) or comparable enterprise platforms
• Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Experience developing and executing functional and user acceptance testing plans
• Strong process mapping and business process improvement skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar enterprise software platforms
• Requirements gathering and business process documentation
• Functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Process improvement and workflow analysis
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and software vendors
