Technical Sales Engineer – Americas

Reach Robotics is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to support and grow its customer base across the Americas. The role combines technical sales, business development, and customer support, including understanding customer needs, developing robotic solutions, managing opportunities, and coordinating with sales, engineering, and product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and developing sales opportunities across the Americas
• Building relationships with customers across defense, maritime, subsea, robotics and other advanced technology markets
• Understanding customer missions and technical requirements and translating them into practical robotic solutions
• Conducting customer meetings, product demonstrations, trials and technical discussions
• Preparing and supporting proposals, quotations and technical responses
• Identifying new markets, customers and applications for Reach Robotics technology
• Supporting existing customers with technical and product inquiries
• Providing global customer support when required, working alongside our Australian team
• Representing Reach Robotics at industry events, conferences and customer demonstrations
• Working closely with engineering and product teams to communicate customer feedback and market requirements

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of technical sales, business development or customer-facing experience, and/or relevant Navy or military experience
• A strong technical aptitude and genuine interest in robotics and advanced technology
• The ability to understand customer problems and develop practical solutions
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The confidence to work independently as our primary representative in the Americas
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved in demonstrations, trials and customer support
• An engineering background or qualification in:
• Mechatronics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Robotics and autonomous systems
• Maritime or subsea operations
• ROVs, UUVs or unmanned systems
• Defense technology
• US Navy or naval operations
• Offshore and marine technology
• Technical field support or customer training
