Product Manager - OTR Tires (US based)

Yokohama TWS is hiring a Product Manager to guide OTR tire products and solutions throughout their lifecycle. The role develops product strategy and roadmaps, translates end-user and market insights into priorities, coordinates cross-functional teams, supports launches, and monitors product performance.

Responsibilities:

• Define the Product and/or Solutions vision and strategy: Establish the overall direction and goals for products and/or solutions, aligning them with the company's objectives
• Understand End User Needs: Conduct market research, analyze end user feedback and understand customer pain points to inform product development
• Create the Product and/or Solutions Roadmap: Translate the product and/or solutions vision into a roadmap, outlining the key features, timelines and priorities for development
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with sales, supply chain, engineering, design, marketing/comms, pricing & business intelligence and other teams to bring the product and/or solution to market
• Launches: Support Marketing/comms with the planning and execution of product and/or solutions launches, ensuring internal training as well as successful market release and adoption
• Product and/or Solutions features and benefits: Manage the list of features and benefits, ensuring the team focuses on the most impactful channel
• Monitor Success Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement
• Manage the Product Lifecycle: Responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to retirement ensuring continuous improvement and value delivery
• Communicate effectively: Strong communication skills to convey the product vision, strategy and progress to stakeholders at all levels
• Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analysis/research to inform decisions & prioritize product development efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience: B2B manufacturing
• Proficient in English
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop a clear product vision and roadmap
• User Empathy: Understand end user needs and behaviors
• Communication: Effectively convey information to various stakeholders
• Data Analysis: Interpret data to make informed decisions
• Problem-Solving & prioritization: Identify and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle

• Technical Proficiency: Understand the technical aspects of the product
• Market Research: Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
