Senior Systems Engineer

Nutanix is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to support sales by demonstrating its solutions and advising customers on technical needs. The role develops account strategies, leads product evaluations, manages customer relationships, and shares customer feedback to improve products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team by demonstrating Nutanix solutions to clients
• Collaborate with sales counterparts to develop comprehensive account plans and customer engagement strategies
• Manage complex customer accounts and oversee larger sales transactions, ensuring effective communication
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and addressing their business challenges
• Conduct product demonstrations and guide prospects through technical evaluations (POCs) to facilitate sales
• Gather customer feedback to drive improvements in Nutanix products and services
• Mentor new hires and peers, providing guidance in technical areas and promoting team knowledge
• Achieve performance goals related to sales targets and customer engagement within the first year

Requirements:

• 3+ years of customer-facing technical experience, including presales engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
• Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving and solution proposal
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Project management capabilities with a focus on handling multiple priorities
• Presales experience in data center and cloud technologies, particularly Nutanix products
• Subject matter expertise to establish credibility with clients
