Founding Growth Marketing Manager

Empromptu.ai is hiring a Founding Growth Marketing Manager to own its end-to-end go-to-market motion for its AI platform. The role leads positioning, content, product marketing, brand, launches, and demand generation, working closely with the CEO and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Narrative and content: shape the company blog, thought pieces, and our unique perspective on AI, and position our founders and researchers as leading voices
• Product marketing: define our category and translate deeply technical capabilities into messaging that developers resonate with
• Brand and channels: own our company brand, website, and social cadence across X and LinkedIn
• Launches and announcements: coordinate product releases and announcements from press to podcasts to events
• Demand generation: build developer and enterprise interest to build our pipeline

Requirements:

• Must be able to own a technical narrative, launches, demand, and growth experiments across channels from social to SEO to email
• Must have an analytical mind
• You can create systems to clearly show ROI while balancing creative
• Must be able to translate technical concepts into simple viral messages that anyone can understand
• Have 5+ years of professional expertise and operating in ambiguous environments
• Write exceptionally well, clear, technical, and fast
• Have taste: know what's credible, what's hype, and what's premature
• Are fluent in the AI industry, leverage tools yourself, and can credibly talk models and APIs with our engineers and researchers
• Show complete ownership, think at the level of goals, not tasks or tickets
• Product marketing and go-to-market experience
• Experience bringing a new product to market
• Proven ability to generate and grow revenue
• Ability to execute independently with limited direction
• Comfort owning multiple functions in a zero-to-one environment
• Ideally have experience targeting CIOs, and/or developers
• Ideally have run their own marketing agency for clients or have built a marketing function from zero at a start-up and can both set strategy and execute it
• Experience with tools like Attio, Intercom, Zapier, or similar automation platforms
• Experience working with early-stage B2B SaaS companies
• Background in technical or developer-focused products
