Senior Manager – Data Engineering

Tredence Inc. is hiring a Senior Manager – Data Engineering to design and lead Snowflake-based data platforms and complex cloud data programs. The role focuses on scalable data architecture and pipelines, cloud migrations, governance, team guidance, and cost and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement large-scale Snowflake-based data platforms
• Build and optimize Snowflake compute strategies, clustering, micro-partitioning, resource monitors, and governance frameworks
• Lead complex cloud migrations, including migration of large-scale warehouse systems to Snowflake
• Architect integrated cloud ecosystems
• Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines
• Enable real-time/near-real-time ingestion
• Design and manage data lake solutions
• Define architectural patterns, best practices, governance, DevOps standards, and reusable solution frameworks
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable Snowflake-based solutions
• Lead cross-functional teams, provide architectural guidance, and oversee delivery of complex data programs
• Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and long-term scalability for cloud environments

Requirements:

• Masters's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, OR related field, PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position
