Marketing & Digital Media Intern, Luxury Travel Brand (Remote)

TouchAfrika by Allpro Escapes is hiring a marketing intern to turn social media and live-show audiences into inquiries and bookings for its luxury travel experiences. The role creates and repurposes content, engages prospects, and tracks conversion performance while maintaining an elevated brand voice.

Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule organic content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, and clips from live shows)
• Support live streams on Restream: promotion, chat engagement, and post-show repurposing
• Write captions, hooks, and calls to action that drive DMs, inquiries, and deposits
• Craft content that conveys exclusivity, insider access, and elevated service, never discount-style promotion
• Respond to comments and DMs, and follow up with prospects in a concierge tone: personal, polished, and warm
• Track performance (inquiries, qualified leads, deposits) and report weekly
• Build social proof through traveler testimonials, countdown content, and urgency campaigns

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a marketing, communications, business, or related program (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Strong working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Comfortable with CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools
• Excellent writing skills and a good eye for luxury branding
• Organized, self-motivated, and reliable with deadlines
• Interest in travel, culture, and Africa and the diaspora is a plus
• Bonus: experience with email marketing, CRM tools, or sales follow-up
