Outside Sales Account Manager - Process Filtration

Process Solutions Integration (PSI), a SunSource company, is hiring an Outside Sales Account Manager to grow sales of process filtration products. The role manages customer accounts, provides technical filtration consulting, develops market-driven strategies, and expands the customer base and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Travels regionally to call on existing and target customers
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and supports customer needs through frequent personal, written, and phone conversations
• Serve as technical filtration consultant to the customer
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
• Identify, design, develop and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission
• Increase customer base and add to existing customer profitability
• Leverage our expanding product lines to capture market share from vulnerable strategic competitors
• Promote a customer-oriented focus and advocate consultative customer relationships

Requirements:

• knowledge and experience in the process filtration industry
• knowledge of refinery and natural gas processing plants and how filtration plays a very important role in the operation of those process systems , as well as knowledge of those filtration products
• HS Diploma or GED
• 5+ years experience in B2B industrial sales
• Valid driver's license
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency to include use of laptop/desktop, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, ability to learn and use a CRM system
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• 3+ years industrial filtration sales experience
