Hardscape Sales Designer-Project Consultant

Zion Outdoors is hiring a Hardscape Sales Designer-Project Consultant to guide homeowners through the design and sales process for premium outdoor hardscape projects. The role develops customized designs and proposals, supports client decisions, coordinates project handoffs with production and installation teams, and manages leads and the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting virtually with homeowners, assessing project needs, and developing customized design concepts using Zion Outdoors’ proprietary systems
• The consultant prepares proposals, estimates, and visual design presentations, explains product options and guarantees, and supports clients in making informed decisions aligned with their budget and aesthetic goals
• This role collaborates closely with production and installation teams to ensure accurate project handoffs, timelines, and expectations
• The consultant also follows up with leads, manages a sales pipeline, and maintains high standards of communication, documentation, and customer experience

Requirements:

• Strong Communication skills for presenting designs, explaining solutions, and coordinating with clients and internal teams
• Proven Customer Service experience with a focus on client-first interactions, empathy, and problem-solving
• Background in Interior Design or related spatial design disciplines, with an eye for aesthetics, materials, and functional layouts
• Demonstrated Sales skills, including consultative selling, pipeline management, and closing project-based services
• Experience with Kitchen & Bath Design or similar high-end residential design, translating client lifestyle needs into practical solutions
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for meetings, proposals, and design visualization
• Comfort with basic design software or visualization tools; willingness to learn proprietary systems and processes
• High level of integrity, accountability, and alignment with a faith- and community-guided, client-first culture
• Familiarity with hardscape, outdoor living, or construction environments is highly beneficial
