SENIOR IMAGE PROCESSING / ML ENGINEER

AIAEC is an AI-native engineering technology company developing computer vision and machine learning systems for architecture, engineering, and construction automation. The Senior Image Processing / ML Engineer will own and advance image-processing and ML pipelines, deploy production models and services, and bring vision-language model research into production.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve our image processing pipeline — CAD feature detection, anomaly identification, and OCR integration
• Design and deploy ML and computer vision models that solve real, gnarly, real-world problems — not toy datasets
• Build and scale production microservices/APIs using FastAPI (or Flask) that serve ML models reliably at scale
• Tackle unstructured visual and document data — extracting signal from CAD drawings, scanned documents, and spatial data
• Push the boundaries of what's possible with Vision-Language Models and Transformers, and bring bleeding-edge research into production
• Collaborate closely with a small, senior team where your voice shapes the roadmap — not just the sprint
