Adjunct Instructor, Nurse Aide: The Nurse Aide Training Program is looking for an instructor for the 16-week section that meets Thursday evenings and Saturday days class. Course runs from Jan 6, 2027 to May 10, 2027. Total hours are approximately 160 hours

Qualifications

A successful applicant must be a current Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license to practice in North Carolina, with at least two years (4000 hours) of work experience as a registered nurse in the United States. 

Minimum education requirement: Associate degree Nursing.

Other requirements:

Current CPR certification

Successful applicants must also meet at least one of the following requirements:

    a. Completion of course in teaching adults; 

    b. Experience in teaching adults; or 

    c. Experience in supervising nurse aides.
