Project Manager

H Grant Designs, LLC builds and maintains websites for small business clients. The Project Manager reviews completed website work for quality, coordinates fixes, supports client conversations, scopes and quotes projects, and keeps work moving between the production team and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Review completed website tasks against client requests and ClickUp tickets to confirm everything was done as asked
• Test work across desktop, tablet, and mobile, and in major browsers
• Check for broken links, layout issues, typos, missing images, form functionality, and general polish
• Give designers and developers clear, specific revision feedback in ClickUp and Slack, and follow up until resolved
• Join client calls to gather requirements, clarify scope, present completed work, and answer questions
• Help scope and quote new projects by breaking down requirements, estimating time and effort, and identifying potential risks
• Meet daily with the owner to review project status, flag blockers, and set priorities
• Turn what’s discussed on calls into clear, actionable ClickUp tasks for the team
• Keep task statuses current so nothing stalls or slips through the cracks
• Prepare concise summaries of completed work so our admin can send updates to clients
• Flag recurring issues and suggest process improvements to reduce rework

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in project management, QA, or account management, ideally in web, digital, or agency work
• Hands-on experience with ClickUp and Slack (required)
• Experience estimating or quoting web projects, or a solid understanding of what goes into building a website
• Confidence on client calls: you can listen well, ask the right questions, and explain technical work in plain language to small business owners
• The ability to give a clear, concise status update and come to check-ins prepared
• A sharp eye for detail and a genuine dislike of sending out anything sloppy
• Working familiarity with how websites are built (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow); you don't need to code, but you should know what to look for
• Clear, tactful written communication
• The ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without losing track
• Know WordPress and how it works
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Experience with SEO basics, accessibility checks, or site speed tools
• Experience working with remote or distributed teams
