Sales Account Manager

Glassmere Fuel Service provides heating oil, propane, and related fuel services to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. The Sales Account Manager manages and grows fuel accounts by developing customer relationships, recommending solutions, generating leads, coordinating deliveries, and supporting customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of residential, commercial, and agricultural fuel accounts
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and recommending appropriate heating oil, propane, and fuel solutions
• Day-to-day responsibilities involve prospecting and lead generation, preparing quotes, negotiating pricing within established guidelines, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• The Sales Account Manager will monitor account performance, address service issues, and work proactively to improve customer satisfaction and retention
• The role also requires maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, reporting on sales activities and pipeline, and collaborating with internal departments to support business growth

Requirements:

• Ability to manage and grow client relationships with strong Account Management and Customer Service skills
• Commitment to high Customer Satisfaction through responsive support and solutions-oriented follow-up
• Proficiency in Lead Generation activities, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline development
• Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with diverse customers and internal teams
• Experience in B2B or B2C sales
• Comfort using CRM systems, basic office software, and remote collaboration tools
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• preferably in fuel, energy, logistics, or related industries
• associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus
