About this role
Role Overview
Build and own the new business strategy, from target identification through contract close.
Develop a rigorous, systematic approach to lead generation that produces a consistent pipeline of qualified, right-fit opportunities.
Open new brand relationships and deepen existing ones. Identify key decision-makers, build trust over time, and earn the right to pitch.
Lead pitches from first brief to final presentation, including team assembly, narrative development, and commercial negotiation.
Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and report regularly to senior leadership.
Work closely with marketing to align outbound and inbound efforts.
Continuously improve the tools, processes, and playbooks that make the growth function sharper over time.
Requirements
Ten or more years of new business development experience, ideally at a digital product, design, or technology agency.
A track record of closing complex, high-value deals with enterprise brands.
Fluency in digital products and emerging technology to have credible conversations with senior buyers.
An extensive network with a relationship and trust-first mindset.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action.
This role requires travel, at a minimum 30% of the time.
