About this role
Role Overview
- Assist the supervisor of an engagement wherever possible
- Delegate appropriate level of work to staff and communicate such to the engagement supervisor
- Acquire skills necessary to develop client relationships
- Prepare complex tax returns including corporations, partnerships, individuals
- Review basic tax returns and extensions
- Provide complex tax research
- Prepare Canadian related returns
- Train and supervise staff accountants in tax preparation
Requirements
- Experienced tax accountants
- Ability to prepare more complex tax returns (including international tax)
- Delegate appropriate level of work to staff
- Communicate effectively with engagement supervisor
- Acquire skills for developing client relationships
- Tax research proficiency
- Training and supervising staff accountants in tax preparation
