Responsible for the provision of technical project planning and management of all the projects and/or initiatives assigned from inception to execution.
Ensure that the projects are in line with company plans, priorities and expectations.
Maintain budgets, enforce deadlines, supervise team members, and manage all levels/forms of service delivery which includes design, analysis, training, testing, and setting-up of solutions.
Schedule, manage risk, resources and set standards, sequential status reports, and both internal and external communication linkages ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
+4 years of applicable experience in Project Management in the software development area.
Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
Experience in DevOps.
Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods.
Experience mentoring, coaching and developing rising talent in the technology department.
Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams.
Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
Excellent and effective communication and leadership skills.
Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company.
Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management.
Experience in business process mapping or operational redesign / improvement.
Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices.
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
