Role Overview
- Grow and oversee all activities on SLA's social media platforms
- Develop strategies to improve business visibility and brand awareness
- Ensure SLA is part of important conversations related to African women
- Lead weekly strategic meetings on content direction
- Work with growth teams to boost social media growth
- Establish community engagement goals on a weekly and monthly basis
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision making
- Oversee and complete social content production and editing
- Develop new concepts and series for the audience
- Listen to users and encourage dialogue on platforms
Requirements
- Experience with digital content creation (knowledge of Canva a plus)
- Ample project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team
- Can-do attitude and flexibility
- High professional and ethical standards
- Comfortable taking and giving feedback
- Good sense of humor
- Comfortable working in a startup environment
