Quality Assurance Specialist – Custom Computer Programming Services

Role Overview

• Provide IT System Lifecycle Development and Management Support Services on behalf of the Food and Drug Association (FDA).
• Seek Small Business sources for availability and capability of IT System Lifecycle Development.
• Provide project management services.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance CFSAN systems.
• Establish an ordering vehicle that develops and maintains existing and future Computer to Plate (CTP) systems.
• Provide training services to CFSAN stakeholders for existing applications, application changes, or newly-developed applications.
• Maintain, support, and evolve code, scripts, views, triggers, jobs, designs, documentation, reports, and templates.
• Identify, recommend and implement the retirement and consolidation of systems.

Requirements

• Expertise and experience in designing, developing, implementing, communicating, administering and evaluating human resources programs.
• Demonstrated successful experience in designing and implementing innovative private and public sector compensation and pay for performance programs.
• Experience in job analysis and evaluation, with expertise in making accurate Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption determinations.
• Expertise in state-of-the art compensation, pay for performance, and awards programs.
• Knowledge of existing laws and regulations pertaining to the federal compensation, classification, performance, and recognition programs.
• Experience in configuration management, verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics & their application to software quality assessment.
• Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating software & associated documentation.
• Conducts formal and informal reviews at predetermined points through the EPLC life cycle.
• Ensures problem resolution and user satisfaction.
