Role Overview
- Attends teleconference meetings and lead the case discussion
- Taking rough notes that accurately reflect the decisions and discussion that took place during the meeting
- Ensuring that a copy is filed appropriately, keeping all minutes together in a file for future reference
- Intense review of each case
- Create a high-level summary of each case with main points systematically outlined
- OCR and Bookmarking of PDFs of medical records
- Carefully monitoring the calendar of events
- Writing of an Affidavit of Merit (AOM) for cases that require an AOM
- Conduct continuous research on common medicolegal case topics
- Create a spreadsheet that contains a brief synopsis of each case and links to files
- Assist the Doctor during calls with attorneys
Requirements
- Licensed PHRN
- Fiber connection and has at least 20mbps download and upload speed
- Has available back up internet
- At least 8gb of Computer RAM
- If possible, SSD system storage
