About this role
Role Overview
- Due to growth within UK programmes, we will need talented Cloud Engineers throughout the course of 2026
- Transforming, supporting and maintaining a system of critical national infrastructure to public cloud adhering to engineering best practices
- Work closely with team members and the broader programme to transition legacy infrastructure to AWS Cloud
- Comfortable supporting other team members where required and interact closely with developers and testers
- Highly technical in nature, demonstrable experience of transitioning legacy platforms to AWS
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of implementing solutions using: AWS with Linux technologies
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
- Demonstrable experience of working in a DevOps environment
- Experience of applying security to all workloads
- Experience of working with CI/CD infrastructure pipelines
- Demonstrable experience of automating deployment and configuration pipelines of COTS software and promoting through multiple environments
- Experience of working Agile teams being aware of Agile methodologies (using Scrum or Kanban)
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidate must be a UK National
- Must be able to obtain an SC level clearance
