Research and identify potential leads using a combination of quantitative and qualitative factors to assess the potential for affiliate marketing opportunities.
Qualify leads by evaluating company size, annual revenue, vertical, and existing affiliate programs.
Target decision-makers within eCommerce departments (CMOs, VPs, Marketing Managers) and set appointments for Account Executives to drive the sales process.
Use CRM systems (Zoho, Smart Lead) to maintain accurate lead records, track interactions, and ensure follow-ups are timely and efficient.
Leverage research tools such as Sales Navigator to identify and engage with target prospects effectively.
Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth transitions from lead qualification to the sales process.
Regularly update and refine lead lists, ensuring they remain current and relevant based on quarterly data updates.
Develop outreach sequences and execute them to effectively nurture leads and drive engagement.
Requirements
Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, including knowledge of affiliate networks, agencies, and publisher operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with decision-makers and drive sales conversations.
Experience with CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce) and lead management.
Strong research and analytical skills, able to evaluate leads based on both data and experience.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in sales development or business development, ideally in the affiliate marketing or eCommerce sectors.
Proficiency with prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator and Smart Lead is highly desirable.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
