Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities in Xero
Process purchase and sales invoices, journals, and perform bank reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely, accurate actions
Prepare books to trial balance and assist with monthly management accounts
Support year-end audit preparation and VAT compliance
Contribute to budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and strategic financial planning
Lead adoption and optimization of Xero-connected apps (payroll, expense tools, CRM, etc.)
Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and cleaner workflows
Collaborate with internal teams and respond to client-facing finance queries
Mentor and support your finance team in delivering exceptional results
Take ownership of designing, implementing, and continuously improving finance processes across Deimos and its associated entities.
Establish clear, scalable standard operating procedures, ensure consistent adoption across teams, and provide guidance to stakeholders to embed disciplined, compliant financial practices throughout the business

Have at least 5 years’ experience in shared services or multi-entity finance
Are highly skilled in Xero and its integrations
Understand accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and reporting workflows
Take pride in accuracy, organisation, and clean, reliable data
Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
Are self-motivated and enjoy managing priorities independently
Love exploring smarter, faster ways of working, including automation and AI tools
Xero Certification (Bonus Points)
Experience supporting clients or stakeholders across Africa and the UK (Bonus Points)
Accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA (part-qualified or qualified), or QBE (Bonus Points)
