Feeding into and executing on existing product strategy and product strategy execution
Go to market initiatives
Product backlog maintenance
Partnering with UX in conducting and synthesising user research
Defining requirements and acceptance criteria
Building trusted relationships with engineering and UX leads to ensure technical considerations are factored into product and design decisions
Balancing product goals and engineering constraint
Coordinating with sales, marketing and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption
Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product related inquiries
Gathering and prioritising product requirements
Encouraging and promoting a culture of accountability and shared ownership across product and engineering
Requirements
Understanding of product management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
circa 1-2 years in a Product role
Any exposure to Data or SAAS is also a distinct advantage.
Demonstrable skills and experience exercising critical thinking.
Customer, user and market focused; willingness to get out of the office with travel in the UK to client sites
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
A strong collaborator with experience leading cross functional teams
Preferably: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or a business related field with 1+ years post graduate experience, ideally within a technology related field
