Manage a team high-powered team of Strategic Account Executives that are deployed across business segments
Own the process to retain and upsell Garner’s clients across all Mid-Market
Collaborate with Account Management to ensure Garner’s important clients have an excellent experience
Become our client’s trusted partner on plan design, bending cost trends and driving plan performance
Work hands on with our most sophisticated clients to resolve strategic problems and ensure Garner is driving value to the employer’s health plan and members
Collaborate with Product, Data, and technology teams to deliver customized presentations demonstrating the value and ROI of Garner
Drive improved net revenue retention and other KPIs across Garner’s entire book of business
Requirements
Deep health plan design and benefits knowledge, ideally including experience advising employer clients on benefits strategy and cost performance
At least ten years of experience in a commercially-oriented account management or sales role in the employee benefits space
A deep commercial and managerial focus with the desire to be measured and compensated via the results on your team’s business
Proven results of achieving NRR and upsell targets and building strong, strategic relationships with brokers and Enterprise client leadership
A desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing startup environment
The ability to problem solve in ambiguous situations
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate a vision
A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.
