You’ll be central to ensuring our Finance department’s systems are functional, efficient, and evolving
You’ll provide technical and administrative support, investigate system issues, and document processes to maintain optimal performance and appropriate controls
Partnering closely with finance end-users, IT teams, and external suppliers, you’ll manage system access, resolve queries, and support infrastructure needs
Supporting our Finance transformation project, working with the latest Microsoft & Snowflake technologies, and aiding in implementing a new ERP system and Finance Data Mart as we build a genuinely world-class department.
Requirements
Undertaking core BAU duties that support operation of a finance department, including administering access to our systems, month-end activities, and maintaining appropriate controls across our estate
Working closely across Finance teams, IT, and 3rd party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user issues & queries
Assisting the finance team with UAT and sharing best practices
Assisting with the initial configuration of new systems and acting as a key contributor for the development of additional capabilities within the systems
Knowledge of database technologies e.g. SQL/Snowflake
Previous experience of Workday Finance is preferred but not essential
must have worked with financial ERP systems from a technical perspective
High level of accuracy with the ability to reconcile large volumes of data
Able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience
Excellent organisational and time management skills – ability to work to strict deadlines
Strong communication, listening and influencing skills (both internal and external)
