Manage a portfolio of SME, trust, partnership, and high-net-worth individual clients.
Experience in managing own mini team.
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns (individual, company, trust)
Review and lodge BAS, IAS, FBT, and GST returns.
Assist with tax planning and compliance to optimise client outcomes.
Supervise, train, and review the work of junior accountants and graduates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely and effective communication.
Keep up to date with changes in tax law, ATO guidelines , and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
Assisting with payroll tax, QBCC, FBT, and other ad hoc compliance tasks
Assisting with tax planning, management reporting, and other business advisory services
Liaising with clients to answer queries and provide professional support

Education Should be a graduate of Finance and or Accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) OR Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred
Complete knowledge of client accounts and businesses
General AU Accounting experience with solid background
At least 5 years of experience in Australian accounting or taxation
Knowledge with Australian Taxation and Compliance is preferred
Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiar with accounting tools such as Xero and MYOB
Ability to learn new systems and tools as needed
Ensures quality of work being delivered without being supervised
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Good oral and written communication skills.
