About this role
Role Overview
- Own the Group’s record of intercompany balances and intercompany matrix
- Ensure intercompany balances are correctly stated and eliminated at a Group level
- Liaise with regional Finance teams regarding intercompany balances as appropriate
- Resolution of historic intercompany accounting issues
- Ensure intercompany loans are supported by loan agreements
- Ensure intercompany interest has been correctly recorded
- Assist the Group Consolidation Manager with the preparation of the Group’s monthly consolidation for statutory accounting purposes
- Support the annual audit and acquisition accounting
- Technical accounting memos and year-end accounting adjustments (e.g., IFRS 2, IFRS 9)
- Prepare quarterly and annual compliance statements and lender reporting
- Support continuous improvement in Finance processes and Group Finance initiatives as required
Requirements
- Group accounting experience
- Experience of preparing intercompany reconciliations
- Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
