About this role
Role Overview
Own the Group’s record of intercompany balances and intercompany matrix
Ensure intercompany balances are correctly stated and eliminated at a Group level
Liaise with regional Finance teams regarding intercompany balances as appropriate
Resolution of historic intercompany accounting issues
Ensure intercompany loans are supported by loan agreements
Ensure intercompany interest has been correctly recorded
Assist the Group Consolidation Manager with the preparation of the Group’s monthly consolidation for statutory accounting purposes
Support the annual audit and acquisition accounting
Technical accounting memos and year-end accounting adjustments (e.g., IFRS 2, IFRS 9)
Prepare quarterly and annual compliance statements and lender reporting
Support continuous improvement in Finance processes and Group Finance initiatives as required
Requirements
Group accounting experience
Experience of preparing intercompany reconciliations
Experience of working in a multi-currency environment
