About this role
Role Overview
- Ensure data integrity: collaborate with wider team to validate the vessel and port data are up to date
- Generate, review and publish regular shipping reports and ad-hoc special reports
- Provide data insight through visual analytic dashboards
- Build new data flows
- Analyse vessel movements and trends, explain them to wide range of customers globally
- Connect with customers on data or market explanation queries.
Requirements
- Shipping industry validated experience is a must
- Commodities shipping market knowledge will be an advantage
- Proficiency in use of analytical software (Excel) and experience with programming (ex. Python, VBA or equivalent) and Power BI
- Superlative written and spoken communication skills
- Analytical and structured thinking with ability to problem solving
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative fast paced environment
