Mentor aviation recruits and guide them through the recruitment process toward readiness for missionary deployment.
Support and assess candidates through interviews, evaluations, and ongoing conversation.
Build and maintain relationships with aviation training institutions across Canada, including flight schools and AME programs.
Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans focused on aviation professionals.
Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to shape messaging and campaigns targeting aviation recruits.
Travel extensively within Canada to build relationships and engage with current and future candidates, institutional partners, churches, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in aviation, or a related technical field
Must have a Pilot’s license or AME certification or another strongly related aviation field qualification to be a considered candidate
5+ years of experience in aviation is strongly preferred.
Proven understanding of mission work and a deep understanding of its unique demands.
Understanding of the aviation industry and its technical requirements.
Exceptional interpersonal, mentoring, and communication skills
Strong organizational and planning abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, remote work tools, and familiarity with CRM databases.
Demonstrated alignment with the mission, vision, values, and doctrinal statements of MAFC
Knowledge of Biblical Scripture, the ability to articulate Christian faith in professional and personal settings.
Canadian work Authorization
Valid Passport for international travel as the need arises.
25+ (preferred) with clean driving record to assure ease and cost efficiency for frequent car rental
Experience in talent development or training is an asset
Fluency in a second language and ability to connect with minority communities within Canada is an asset.
